He devised an incredible strategy on a competitive property for my wife and me and we couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish. My wife and I found our dream home in Los Angeles on Memorial Day weekend ahead of our projected buying timeline. The house was perfect for our growing family. The buying experience haunted us though. In buying our first place a few years prior, we went through 22 places before our offer was accepted. The LA market is insane! In knowing competition was going to be fierce and that this place would go quick, we called Ryan Monday night (Memorial Day) to ask if he could get into it immediately. We did not want to lose this place. I can't tell you how important communication is to me. It's the lifeblood of any relationship. Ryan answered every call and text immediately. We put in an offer Tuesday and despite the fact the house received multiple offers before and after ours, the house was ours later that week. It's not just the purchase though. It was all of the in-between I was appreciative. This is the first house for my wife and me and there were a lot of unique qualities to the house we needed guidance on. Ryan flexed his knowledge of the housing market, building codes, inspections, and credits. He held our hand every step of the way with patience and wisdom. Worth noting, we didn't pay all cash, I'm pretty sure we weren't the top offer, we definitely weren't the first offer, and we didn't pay a dollar over ask. With utter certainty, I can say if Ryan wasn't our agent, we would have lost our house. Not only did he help us get into the house of our dreams, but he also helped us with a local agent recommendation to help sell our condo. The agent Ryan recommended also did a fabulous job. Our condo sold for a building record the weekend we listed it. I can not recommend Ryan more. I will not be looking for or interviewing agents ever again. Ryan, I hope you're ready to commute because our next house will be in Hawaii. Just give me like 20 or so years to save up.

When our recent offer was accepted on March 11, 2020, we thought the closing process would be simple. Within a few days, our world changed as the COVID-19 pandemic, statewide shutdown, and uncertainty of our jobs created stresses that we couldn’t imagine. True character is displayed in difficult and stressful times, Ryan’s core traits are empathy, communication, honesty, and decisiveness. He listened to our concerns, which were growing daily given our jobs in healthcare and investments, and never pressured us into stepping outside our comfort zone. He actively tried to understand our dynamic situation, along with our seller's situation, to come up with solutions that made both parties comfortable. He communicated with us daily which brought us comfort given the mounting concerns and fears of a collapse. During our discussions, he was thoughtful and provided honest feedback when we proposed ideas, ensuring that time and precious opportunities weren’t wasted. When a moment arose to reduce the purchase price by $50K, he leveraged our position against the seller's position and they agreed on the reduction. We thought the deal was finally done, but the mortgage market nearly locked up just before we closed which jeopardized our purchase. Ryan worked with our lender and seller's agent to extend the deadline so the bank could get comfortable with the loan given that the economy was now in shambles. After staying on top of everything, we finally closed and received the keys (virtually). If you read this far, congratulations, your search for an agent is complete. You won’t find a better person to help you with one of the largest, and most emotional, financial decisions in your life.

We were pretty set on low-balling in our offers and although he could have been annoyed by that (since those offers don't tend to be accepted) he was always game for whatever he wanted. He gave us his honest opinion but always supported our wishes. We ended up finding a great home. The sellers were not the most pleasant, and their agent wasn't super responsive, but you never would have known that by how easy Ryan made everything feel. We had an amazingly enjoyable buying and selling experience. He's incredibly knowledgeable not only about the process but about different areas and pockets of San Diego and different types of homes (both fixer-uppers and flips). He is honest and one of the hardest-working agents I've ever met. He never made us feel like we were being pressured into anything (which we've experienced in the past). I won't hesitate to recommend him to everyone we know in the future.
